Denver Motherhood Photographer

As a Denver Motherhood Photographer, I’m coming to realize just how much I adore documenting motherhood sessions. I really can’t get enough of them! I’m amazed at the bond between mothers and their children. I love the little in between moments that seem so tiny, but hold so much significance. When my friend Meredith stopped to feed Greyson, I mentioned that it might be a good idea to grab at least one photo as he was taking his bottle. Feeding our children is one of those day to day events that we take for granted, and then one day we look back and long for the days when we could hold our baby in our arms as they ate. I’ve at least found that true for myself as my daughter just turned two, and these moments of sweet feedings have already passed. The photo of Meredith feeding her son turned out to be one of my favorites.

I think so many moms have newborn photos taken with their babies, and then we step out of the frame. I’m making it a priority to exist in photos this year, and I encourage you to do the same! Your children will want to see photos of you as they grow older, and they’ll hold so much significance.

When is a good time to take motherhood photos?

Greyson is 6 Months old, which really is a perfect age to take motherhood photos with your little one! By this point, most babies are sitting up, but they’re not yet crawling, and they’re also responsive to your voice, giggles, and smiles. Really though, I think any age of your child is perfect for motherhood photos, and will be a beautiful reminder of whatever stage you were in at the time.
